About Us

The Wolf Creek Cherokee Tribe of Virginia Cultural Center, Inc. is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to cultural preservation, museum stewardship, historical interpretation, educational outreach, and community engagement throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The organization is committed to preserving Indigenous history, maintaining its historical museum and cultural archives, and providing educational programming that supports public understanding of Cherokee heritage, traditions, lifeways, and cultural contributions.

Through museum operations, cultural programming, historical preservation initiatives, educational presentations, public events, and community outreach, the Tribe works to honor ancestral knowledge while strengthening awareness, respect, and appreciation for Native American history and culture.

The organization also supports long-term stewardship of historical materials, cultural resources, and educational initiatives designed to ensure that Indigenous voices, traditions, and historical perspectives remain accessible for future generations.
