Programs & Services
The Wolf Creek Cherokee Tribe of Virginia offers a variety of cultural and educational programs that bring authentic Cherokee teachings directly to schools, organizations, agencies, and public events throughout the Commonwealth. These services are provided at our museum, or off-site, at the location of the requesting organization.
Each offering is grounded in cultural accuracy, respect, and the Tribe’s commitment to community outreach and cultural preservation.
Donation requirements contributions directly sustain educational outreach, community participation, cultural materials, travel, and the operating costs necessary to administer and deliver these offerings with integrity. Your support ensures these programs remain accessible, meaningful, and fully resourced for those we serve.

Educational Presentations
Designed for schools, agencies, museums, civic groups, and organizations seeking Native American cultural education. These presentations may include:
Cherokee history and migration
Cultural traditions and daily lifeways
Oral history or storytelling
Regalia explanation and cultural protocols
Artifact interpretation (when appropriate)
Age-appropriate Q&A
Required Donation:
Groups up to 30: $300
Larger groups: donation determined based on size and session length
Cultural Demonstrations
Hands-on or observational demonstrations that highlight Cherokee cultural practices. Demonstrations may include:
Traditional craftwork
Lifeways education
Regalia demonstration
Cultural teachings relating to daily and ceremonial life
Required Donation:
Standard Demonstration - Groups up to 12 participants: $350
Larger groups: donation determined based on size and session length
Drum Programs
A powerful cultural experience led by 5–7 Tribal members. This presentation may include:
Drum demonstration
Cultural explanation of the drum’s significance
Songs in an educational (non-ceremonial) context
Required Donation:
Drum Demonstration- Groups up to 30 - $600
Larger groups: donation determined based on size and session length
Drum Demonstration plus Teaching/Q&A Session: + $700
Community Engagement
The Tribe participates in a variety of events across the Commonwealth including heritage days, festivals, educational fairs, conferences, and community gatherings.
Options may include:
Educational booth or cultural display
Cultural demonstration
Drum demonstration (if available)

Booth + Cultural Demonstration: $400
Booth + Drum Demonstration: $600
